Nantwich’s famous outdoor brine pool is set to open again for the 2016 summer season.

The swimming facility, which attracts more than 15,000 visitors a year, is set to open on Saturday April 30.

A community project to resurface a footpath connecting two Nantwich estates has been completed after confusion over its ownership.

The work was carried out by Cheshire East Council’s highways service after residents reported poor condition of the path between Clonners Field and Cronkinson Oak on the Stapeley estate.
