Rod Stewart tribute act Paul Metcalfe

Rod Stewart tribute show ‘Some Guys Have All The Luck’ sails into Crewe Lyceum this month.

The rock icon is one of the best-selling music artists of all time with a career spanning six decades.

Since his infamous single Maggie May reached number 1 on its release in 1971, the Grammy award-winning rock legend has sold more than 100 million records worldwide.

Earlier this year, Stewart was knighted in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list, for his services to music and charity.

Paul Metcalfe stars as Stewart in the production Some Guys Have All The Luck, that takes the audience on a journey from his days as a street busker through to international superstar.

Metcalfe assumes the persona of the singer-songwriter and performer down to the last detail, from the distinctive vocals to the showmanship and fun that made Rod Stewart one of the most loved performers.

It also features favourites from his days with the Faces and timeless Motown tunes from the 25th studio album Soulbook.

Some Guys Have All The Luck is live at Crewe Lyceum on Thursday July 21 at 7.30pm.
