Heavy rain washed out all the Crewe Sunday Regional Premier Division ties at the weekend.

Meanwhile, Betley FC lost 4-2 in the Staffs FA Sunday Challenge Cup at Spittal Brook, despite leading 2-1 with 20 minutes to go.

Jordan Cottrell and Ally Chapman scored for Betley FC, who tumble out.

In Division One, just three games went ahead with leaders Nantwich YF involved in a terrific game with Talbot which ended 3-3.

Nantwich YF led 2-0 after only 10 minutes, but goals either side of half time levelled the match.

Nantwich YF went ahead with 10 minutes to go before Talbot were reduced to 10 men.

Talbot then levelled with four minutes to go but the drama didn’t end there as Nantwich YF had a last minute penalty saved by the Talbot keeper.

Elworth Park and White Eagles also served up an entertaining 2-2 draw.

Gareth Barry and James Husher scored for Elworth Park with Danny Williams and Konrad Lewandowski scoring for White Eagles.

Audlem celebrated the opening of their new changing facilities with a 4-0 win over Market Tavern with goals from Mo Haroon, Carl McGowan, Adam Myers and an own goa.

Square One remain at the top of the Premier Division, three clear of Crewe Athletic.

Nantwich YF are six clear of Elworth Park in Division One.
