ctchealthcare Movember campaign

A Nantwich company has been doing its bit to raise awareness of men’s health issues during the Movember campaign.

Physiotherapists at ctchealthcare grew moustaches to join thousands of ‘mo-bros’ across the country in a national effort to boost funds for men’s health charities including prostate and testicular cancer.

The company, which has five clinics including Crewe and Nantwich, also works with the corporate sector to promote health and wellbeing in the workplace.

Strategy and Quality Assurance Manager Georgios Christopoulos said: “Male colleagues didn’t shave for the whole of November and while it raised a smile, it also gave us the chance to spread the word about men’s health issues and the need to be aware.

“As a healthcare company we will keep on with this mission all year round – with or without moustaches.”

Money raised as a result of Movember helps fund education, support, research and awareness initiatives.

Ctchealthcare’s ‘mo-sistas’ got involved in the effort by collecting funds and now the proceeds are now being totted up.

The company has offered physiotherapy, sports massage and acupuncture as well as a range of complementary and holistic therapies to the local community for more than 20 years.
