Crewe and Nantwich Ladies RUFC

Crewe & Nantwich RUFC Ladies are celebrating after reaching the final of the Women’s Intermediate Plate competition.

The Vagrants side travelled to Streatham-Croydon in the semi-finals and came away with a fine 15-0 triumph.

It secured their place in the final against Devonshire side Cullompton RUFC, which will take place on Sunday April 22.

The Ladies team are hoping for a bumper away support at the final which takes place at Cheshunt RUFC in Cheshunt, in Hertfordshire, at 2pm.

Meanwhile, Crewe & Nantwich 1st team entertain Veseyans at home tomorrow, kick off 3pm.

They will be hoping to built on their fine 25-21 away win at Tamworth last weekend, which has kept them in second place in Midlands 2 West behind Whitchurch.

The 2nd team travel to Blackburn hoping to bounce back from a heavy 15-73 defeat at home to Burnage last week.
