Big Day Out Cheshire is celebrating its 5th year as the family festival returns to Nantwich this weekend.

The festival, which takes place at Dorfold Hall on Sunday July 29, is set to be the biggest yet with The Christians headlining and a whole host of family friendly fun.

Kids and adults alike will enjoy inflatables and fairground rides, DJ workshops, zorbing and archery, as well as a magician and face painting.

As well as The Christians, other live performers include Baxter, Photo Booth Smile, Mind Over Matter, Tim Lee, Jonathan Tarplee and Liam McClair.

And local DJs Ollie Birch-Hampson, Spencer Hickson and Kev Lovell will be getting in on the act.

Doors open at 11am and last entry is 3pm with The Christians headlining at 4pm.

Early bird ticket offers are available at www.bdofestival.co.uk and all online tickets will qualify for a surprise treat on arrival.

More and more festivals across the UK are raising money for charity – and Big Day Out Cheshire is no exception.

The event is run by non-profit organisation RedShift Radio who will donate proceeds to Hope House and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (R.A.B.I.)

Headline sponsors Hall Smith Whittingham Solicitors and Richmond Retirement Village Nantwich are hosting the garden games while Car Transplants are ensuring all proceeds from the dodgems are donated too.

People are advised to bring lots of water and snacks, although there will be food/refreshment stalls available.
