Party Gras St Luke's Hospice 9

More than 400 people gathered at Party Gras in Nantwich to celebrate the 30th birthday of St Luke’s Hospice.

The Party Gras charity ball at Dorfold Park was supported by major local businesses including Mornflake, Event Equipment, trCREATIVE, Roberts Bakery and Redrow supporting the event.

Guests embraced the carnival theme with beautiful and elaborate outfits embellished with feather, sequins and even masks.

After enjoying cocktails and food, revellers hit the dance floor to join Brazilian dancers and drummers from the UK’s top Latin showband Tropicalia.

Vice President of St Luke’s and chairman of the Party Gras Committee, Roger Mills MBE, said: “Party Gras brought the colour, flavour, sounds and excitement of the Brazilian carnival to Cheshire – and raised lots of money at the same time.”

Mornflake managing director John Lea, main sponsor, said: “Mornflake were very proud to support the Party Gras event on Friday 27th July in aid of St Luke’s.

“The evening dinner was supported by Mornflake along with Oatey biscuits for the cheese course made with their signature Oats.”
