Father-of-three William (Billy) Flynn, 55, from Winsford, was killed after a collision between a grey Toyota Aygo and a black and red Yamaha FZS on the B5074, Main Road.

The accident happened shortly after 7pm last Tuesday August 7.

In a statement, his family said: “Words cannot express the loss that the family are feeling since the news that Billy had been taken from us far too early following the tragic accident last week.

“Billy leaves behind Lisa, Craig and Dan as well as eight grandchildren and they will miss him being in their lives as they continue to grow up.

“Billy was loved so much by everyone who knew him and the messages that have flooded in since the news of his death has provided us with so much strength and support at such a tragic time.

“He was a true character and since the news of his death family and friends have been able to remember so many stories which have made us laugh and cry but have always show what a kind, caring, funny and loving man Billy was.

“Whether that contact was during his time in army, whilst driving through work, taking his youngest son to football or following his lifelong passion for VW’s, he touched the hearts of everyone he came in to contact with.

“Billy was a truly special man.

“Billy was a Winsford man through and through and his funeral will undoubtedly show how much he was loved and will help us all to celebrate his life.”
