north west air ambulance in Nantwich

A Nantwich schoolboy was airlifted to hospital after suffering head injuries in a scooter accident.

The youngster was injured at Barony Park in Nantwich at around 5pm yesterday (September 17).

Paramedics and the North West Air Ambulance attended the incident.

In a statement, a North West Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 5.15pm to reports of a boy who had fallen from a scooter at Barony Park.

“Both an air ambulance and a land ambulance attended the scene, where the boy was assessed for a head injury.

“He was then taken via air ambulance to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital for further treatment.”
