Detectives probing the murder of Audlem dad Adam Lovatt have renewed their appeal for help – four months after the incident.

Officers are still keen to trace people who witnessed anything on the night of Adam’s death.

Nantwich Town suffer narrow FA Cup replay defeat at Blyth Spartans

Nantwich Town bowed out of the FA Cup after a late goal saw them beaten 1-0 at Blyth Spartans in the Second Qualifying Round replay at Croft Park.

Spartans’ substitute Dan Maguire popped up nine minutes from time to stab the ball home from close range following a fine run and cross from Jamie Holmes.

Twelve work colleagues from Tarporley car insurance firm Dayinsure cycled from London to Paris to raise thousands of pounds for charity, The Joshua Tree.

They completed the 200-mile journey between September 12 and 15.

Crewe Vagrants Hockey Club presented a cheque for £1,041.46 to Liz and Mike Boffey from the charity Bloodwise at The Vagrants Ground.

The money was raised by the club via a ‘Hockeython’ 12-hour hockey game at The Vagrants Ground in Willaston earlier this year.
