A pedestrian was seriously injured following a fail to stop collision in Crewe.

A motocross bike was in collision with the victim on Wistaston Road, outside the Wistaston Road Hand Car Wash and Afford Rent-a-Car, between 7.30pm and 8pm on December 13.

The rider of the bike did not stop at the scene, leaving the 23-year-old man seriously injured. He is currently being treated at Leighton Hospital.

The bike is described as a dark grey motocross bike with no rear lights.

The rider was dressed all in black with a dark grey helmet and is thought to be aged around 19-20 years old.

PC John Warren said: “I would urge anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the collision, or has any dashcam footage of the incident or the motocross bike before the collision to contact police.”
