Four top chefs have been lined up to give live shows at this year’s Nantwich Food Festival.

Rosemary Shrager, Sean Wilson, Matt Tebbutt and Nigel Brown will be entertaining the packed crowds at the event set for August 30 to September 1.

Kick-starting the Festival is Shrager, renowned for her Cookery School in Tunbridge Wells and her many TV appearances, including the Big Family Cooking Showdown.

She endeared herself to the nation when she took part in I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here, where she proved she could cook just about anything, anywhere.

Former Coronation Street star Wilson (pictured, above) was so popular with Festival Foodies in 2018 he agreed to return.

Self-taught, followers will know him for his entertaining style while creating innovative recipes using his own multi-award winning cheeses from Saddleworth Cheese Company.

Tebbutt is a TV chef known for work on Saturday Kitchen Live, Best Bites (BBC), and Food Unwrapped on Channel 4.

He has worked in some of London’s most prestigious restaurants, including Marco Pierre White’s Oak Room and Criterion, and with Alastair Little, whom he cites as the greatest influence on his cuisine.

Brown returns as both Demonstration Kitchen compere and a Celebrity Chef in his own right.

Having spent a lifetime in the hotel and catering industry, Nigel has worked at some of the UK’s biggest and busiest hotels.

In 2007, he launched his cookery school, The Nigel Brown Cookery Academy.

Nigel said: “I’m really looking forward to creating some fabulous recipes during my demonstrations at this year’s Nantwich Food and Drink Festival.

“I’ll be using some of the finest produce and ingredients being showcased by the festival’s stall holders so be sure to come and have a chat with me and see what I’ll be cooking.

“Most importantly though, don’t forget to shop till you drop and support all of those amazing food and drink producers! Happy cooking.”

Festival Director Andrew Martin said: “Nantwich Food Festival is unique in providing such high quality entertainment free to visitors.

“I am thrilled to confirm the wonderful line-up of 4 Celebrity Chefs who will be demonstrating at the Civic Hall.”

Cheerbook Farm Shop in Nantwich will be donating produce for all the meat to be used in chef demonstrations; we thank them sincerely.

Cheerbrook is a major Festival sponsor.
