Tom Stade - very best in stand up comedy

The Very Best In Stand Up comedy returns to Nantwich Civic Hall on September 6 with a star-studded line up.

The new season kicks off with four top name, Craig Campbell, Nick Page, Tom Stade and compere Jonathan Mayor.

First act of the evening is Canadian comedy powerhouse Campbell.

He has starred in Michael Mcintyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Russell Howard’s Good News and Dave’s One Night Stand, and is one of the most charismatic and inventive performers on the circuit.

His ability to find humour in the mundane, coupled with his own natural eccentricity makes for truly inventive storytelling.

Now an internationally acclaimed act, Craig’s whimsical travel anecdotes never fail to surprise.

Page was a semi-finalist in ITV’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ 2018 and won ‘The English Comedian of the Year’ 2017/2018.

His prize was an all expenses trip to Australia to perform at the Perth and Adelaide festivals.

His debut Edinburgh Festival show had sell-out performances, critical acclaim and a host of 4 star reviews.

He is in enormous demand in comedy clubs throughout the UK, as a headline act and MC, and has been for the last 15 years.

Last up is cult comedy hero Stade. Since coming to the UK, Stade has built up a reputation as a popular and highly recommended comedian.

He is willing to tackle a huge range of topics, from the obscure to the familiar, from a simple gag to quirky, inventive, rambling anecdotes with unexpected punchlines.

Even if he occasionally seems to lose sight of where he’s going, at least you know he’s taking the audience with him.

The compere and host for the evening is Mayor, one of the finest comperes in the country.

He is capable of settling even the rowdiest crowds with savage wit and a high octane stage presence.

When Mayor arrives, it’s showtime, engaging the audience both on and off-stage.

He is one of the few acts who will not only perform when the stage lights are on, but also wander among the crowd, chatting and charming – truly “hosting” the night.

The show takes place on Friday September 6 and tickets are on sale now priced at £10.

They can be purchased from Nantwich Civic Hall direct or online at www.civiccomedy.co.uk

Some tables are available for reservation.

Doors open at 7.15pm and the show starts at 8.15pm.
