Cheshire’s Chief Constable and Police and Crime Commissioner will be in Crewe tommorrow (Thursday January 23) to meet with local residents.

People are being invited to put their questions about local policing to PCC David Keane and CC Darren Martland in a series of question time style events.

The aim is to give the public a chance to talk to them about issues that matter most to their communities.

The Crewe event will take place on January 23 at 7pm at “What’s Happening on North Street” (opposite the Horseshoe Pub), on North Street, CW1 4NJ.

The PCC and Chief are holding events in each of Cheshire’s eight local policing units with events in Ellesmere Port, Northwich, Widnes, Macclesfield, Chester and Warrington having already taken place.

PCC David Keane will also be at Tesco on Vernon Way on the same day between 1pm-3pm consulting with local people about the Cheshire Police precept for 2020/21.

Residents can quiz him directly about police funding for the next financial year.
