Nantwich Museum is staging children’s workshops during half term and a celebration of Pancake Day.

“Dreams of Nantwich” exhibition in the Museum’s Millennium Gallery will provide inspiration for water colour painting during the children’s workshops on February 19 and 20.

There will be arts and crafts, quizzes and a chance to design the museum of the future.

All workshops are drop in any time between 11am and 3pm.

The cost is £2 per child who must be accompanied. Large groups are requested to book in advance.

The Museum celebrates Pancake Day on Shrove Tuesday February 25.

Pancakes and refreshments will be served in the Millennium Gallery from 10.30am until 12.30pm.

The cost is £3.50 per person for two pancakes with sugar and lemon plus a cup of tea or coffee.

Large groups are requested to book in advance.

As usual the popular event is organised by museum volunteers to raise funds to support the museum a registered charity.
