Nantwich Outdoor Pool

Nantwich Outdoor Pool which reopened to the public on July 20 has unveiled its summer season timetable for all ages.

Adults have been able to use one of the only outdoor brine pools in the country since it reopened.

Now operators Everybody Sport and Recreation have announced they will be welcoming families of all ages from August 3.

The popular attraction will also be opening up at weekends adding more swim sessions for people.

Lane swimming will still be available but now for ages 14+ who are confident swimmers. The public swim sessions will be for families and swimmers of all ages and abilities.

Everybody Sport and Recreation has been following guidance from Swim England and the Government to safely open its outdoor brine pool to customers.

Swimmers will need to be familiar with new measures in place including social distancing, arriving “pool ready” and pre-booking swim sessions online.

Dominic Crisp, head of leisure operations at Everybody, said: “We have been so pleased to welcome back so many customers to our Outdoor Pool as well as our gym and group fitness classes last weekend.

“We would just like to thank everyone who has visited for working with us to ensure we have been able to open safely and maintain high standards, this has enabled us to confidently open up more outdoor swimming sessions and welcome families back.”

Hazel Cabel, a long time user of Nantwich Outdoor Pool, added: “It is great that the outdoor pool has opened in Nantwich.

“It has been very well prepared and run well within government guidelines.

“Everyone in abiding by the rules.

“The staff are very attentive and everything is well cleaned between sessions. Keep it up guys!”

  1. What about less able swimmers? Not given this much thought

  2. What about the serious swimmers under 14? They are having to go to Winsford (Cheshire West ) to get any swim time.
