Accountancy firm Alextra Group have renewed their sponsorship support for Nantwich Town.

The practice based in Crewe is continuing to partner the Dabbers through the 2020/2021 season.

Commercial partners and sponsors of Nantwich Town FC are key for the non-league club after the Covid-19 pandemic left it severely cash-strapped.

Steven Pepper, Director of Alextra Wealth Management, said: “Alextra Group are always keen to work in partnership with local sports clubs and we have been pleased with our proactive relationship with Nantwich Town Football Club.

“It’s a very impressive set up and allows our brand and business to be prominent not only to the first team supporters, but also to the 40 community football boys and girls teams that train and play matches at the Weaver Stadium every day of the week.

“We look forward to a continued partnership and wish all the NTFC teams all the best for the coming 2020/2021 season!”

Tim Crighton, Nantwich Town FC Director, added: “We have enjoyed an excellent partnership with Alextra Group so far and its great news for the club that they have extended this deal into the coming season.

“I’d encourage any supporters who have a business small or large that requires accountancy services, or perhaps individuals that need some financial planning assistance, to get in contact with Alextra Group.

“Commercial sponsorship is a lifeblood for this club, especially in current times with other revenue streams such as weddings and birthday parties unable to take place.

“So we are grateful for the continue partnership from Alextra Group and of course all our other commercial partners.”

The recent Just Giving campaign rallied the local community and the club’s supporters and businesses and raised £23,000, well over the initial £20,000 target.

Tim added: “Keith, Steven and all the staff are welcome as always to come and watch some live football, especially with football in higher leagues still behind closed doors!

“Whilst we are adhering to the strict social distancing measures, we are allowed 600 capacity at any one match so if you want live football, a burger and a pint, come and support the Dabbers!”
