A fund to support a Wistaston boy suffering from a rare form of bone cancer has been given a £2,000 boost thanks to a novice Nantwich runner!
Ed Potts began training for the London Marathon earlier this year and when the event was cancelled due to Covid he ran around South Cheshire instead to raise money for Georgy Capener.

Cheshire East residents can now have their say on plans which could see some towns lose their recycling centres.
Earlier this month, Cheshire East Council cabinet members voted to launch a consultation into the proposals, which sets out a variety of scenarios for the future of the centres.
Cheshire East and Cheshire West and Chester boroughs will be in Tier 2 – the ‘high alert’ level – once national lockdown ends on December 2.
The Government made the announcement this morning, which means both boroughs remaining in same tier as they were before national lockdown back in early November.
