Former Nantwich Town favourite Danny Griggs says he hopes to “bring back the good times” to the club after joining new manager Phil Parkinson.
Griggs made more than 300 appearances for the Dabbers, and scored 103 goals, and won the Cheshire Senior Cup and the FA Vase.
The FA is back in Nantwich to stage a free 2-hour football session during the school half-term next week.
The session, run by Cheshire FA coach Laura Woodcock, is for boys and girls of all abilities.

New Nantwich Town boss Phil Parkinson has brought in former Crewe Alex star Neil Sorvel as his assistant at Weaver Stadium.
Parkinson, who was named new manager earlier in the week replacing Danny Johnson, also added Danny Griggs as first team coach.
Nantwich Town midfielder Iain Howard has left the club because of travelling problems.
Howard, who joined the club from Witton Albion in September, car shared with a number of players who have already left this season.
Nantwich Town groundsman Pete Temmen has been nominated for The FA groundsmen of the year award by the Evo-stik Northern Premier League.
Pete will represent the Dabbers and the league alongside four other groundsmen of the member clubs in the Northern Premier League.
