Welcome to Boughey Distribution. If you’re looking for a warehousing, distribution, pallet consolidation, e-commerce or contract packing operation which you can trust to get the job done – a successful business who will work with you, rather than just for you. We can offer distribution from 1 case to a full load.

Boughey Distribution has the scale and capability to offer a total end-to-end service.

550 staff
120 articulated units
250 trailers
900,000 sq ft of warehousing

That all adds up to an operation ready and able to tackle the biggest and most complex tasks. But we are also flexible and versatile enough to modify and fine-tune our services to accommodate most businesses’ requirements

We’re based near Nantwich, Cheshire. So we are ideally placed to serve companies across both the North West of England and further afield, with the M6 allowing easy North/South access.

We have particular experience and expertise in the ambient grocery sector – with some of the UK’s largest retailers trusting us to provide a reliable and efficient service.

In fact, our consolidation service is so seamless, hassle-free and commercially astute, we’re sure it can help you keep costs to a minimum and gain a real competitive edge.

We are also members of Palletline, the UK’s leading palletised distribution specialists. So more local companies, with perhaps more modest distribution requirements, can benefit from our scale and efficiencies without worrying about excessive costs.

We strongly believe that companies, whatever their size, should be able to benefit from the high standards of professionalism and reliability we bring to any business relationship.

But, of course, no two businesses are the same. Each has its own individual requirements. Which is why we are happy to work with you to identify these specific needs – then develop a unique, bespoke answer.

It’s by working this way that we have become the ‘partner of choice’ for so many of our customers – developing strong and mutually profitable relationships which have been in place for years.

With Boughey Distribution, you can look forward to more economically and environmentally sustainable solutions.

Marbury, Whitchurch SY13 4LS, UK 23.8 km

The Swan has stood at the heart of Marbury for more than 250 years.
But for a couple of years, it had to close before new life could be breathed back into it.
In 2016, with no real investment from the previous owners for many years, the 19th century built hostelry was really in a bit of a mess. Some ruthlessness was called for.
By April 2018 The Swan glided back to the epicentre of the village.
Marbury has 11 National Heritage listed black and white Medieval/Tudor buildings, including the Swan’s own outbuildings.
And a 16th-century church that overlooks the splendid Big Mere (See History Page).
Well, the resuscitated Swan fits well with all that.

Real ales, fires, books and patio
There’s a five hand-pull real ale bar (see Beers) and two main dining areas plus a Garden room, a new addition to the building, providing plenty of extra dining space. For cooler weather, wood burners flicker merrily in rooms which feature natural, reclaimed materials, wood panelling, beams and solid wooden or tiled floors along with antique furniture and colourful rugs.
And then there are the books; there are some 2000, supplied locally by Barn Books, scattered throughout – lots of interesting stuff, novels, history, gardening, cooking, whatever you fancy if you have the time. They sit alongside lovely old black and white photographs and classic pictures.
And a really cosy room for small groups is the ‘Cellar Room’ – don’t worry that’s actually above the beer cellar not in it – adorned with old whisky and wine bottles and more classic paintings. For the warmer drinking weather and alfresco dining, there’s a large paved patio with a rustic ‘log fencing’ touch.

Changing menu
In the ‘back’ we have an ultra-modern energy and labour saving kitchen with clever infra-red grills and something fancy called electric induction stoves to make for a pretty efficient food service. From here head chef Matt Marren will mastermind his regularly changing menu – including fresh fish daily – painstakingly developed to be based on honest, fresh ingredients but with his own cheffy spin. (see Menu Page).

Hello! I’m Hannah, mum of two beautiful little delights, wife of a very patient husband and very proud owner of Wattle & Home.

Ever since I can remember I have always had a passion for design, interiors, textiles and all things beautiful and unique. After graduating from university with an interior textiles degree, I gained experience in various jobs but my real adventure started when I left England in search of adventure and inspiration.

After backpacking around Australia in my late twenties, I met my husband (an Aussie!) in 2011. Together we settled in Sydney and with my love of interiors, floor plans and houses ( I know I’m a geek!) we embarked on our first big house renovation project.
As much as we loved living in Sydney, once we had completed our project, life (with our little baby girl) brought us back here to the UK. Fast forward a year or so and we welcomed our baby boy into the world.

As much as I love my children, I was itching to get back into the creative world, working on projects and simply being inspired by beautiful homewares, gifts and soft furnishings.

I freelanced for a while, styling show homes and working on major UK builder interior floor plans but this still didn’t quite satisfy my need for inspiring homewares, handmade gifts and beautifully curated interiors.

My research began and out of love and passion (and maybe a bit of obsession!) I have collated a beautiful range of products. Through my research it became clear that there was a need in society to reduce the carbon footprint and successfully implement sustainability. Therefore the products that I stock are mainly designed by UK artists and/or handmade in the UK by small artisan businesses. I want to inspire others to shop local and shop independent with a view to fulfilling current environmental concerns without compromising on quality and style.

Through this Wattle & Home was born! The name Wattle & Home reflects my life journey from living in Australia (the Golden Wattle Bush is Australia’s floral emblem) to settling back in the UK (home in Cheshire)

Whether you shop online or in-store I hope you enjoy the products as much as I do and understand the story behind my ambition.

We supply a range of technologies that give the power back to people and their businesses.

Simple extra security measures in every day life provide an invaluable peace of mind to communities, companies and consumers faced with operating around other people.

The technology available in our products is the best and latest, coming with a proven track record in a wide range of communities.

We have partnered with a very much still-in-business South-Korea, to bring their cutting edge systems into Britain.

Whereas a lot of available PPE and camera technologies sourced from China are proven outdated, cumbersome, cheap and ineffective, South Korea have steamed ahead in becoming ‘one of the most technologically advanced and digitally connected countries.’

All of our products are either in stock or on short delivery.

Please get in touch via email, the contact form or the the ‘request quote’ links on the product pages and we will endeavour to reply ASAP.

We are always happy to discuss your needs and find the best possible way to reduce risk and supply essential equipment whatever the circumstance.
