Bentley Motors in Crewe has unveiled its new Bentayga Speed model.<\/p>\n

The company, which employs 4,000 staff in South Cheshire, says the model is the pinnacle of the Bentayga family.<\/p>\n

But it isn’t cheap.<\/p>\n

Hand-built at the Pyms Lane factory in Crewe, this 6 litre model which has a top speed of 190mph and 0-60 in 3.9 seconds will set you back a cool \u00a3185,000.<\/p>\n

It combines the W12 powertrain and many of the models luxurious features as standard, including the Mulliner Driving Specification.<\/p>\n

Building on a long tradition of Speed models that was born with the Continental GT in 2007, the new Bentayga Speed maintains the performance credentials proved by its predecessor, which claimed the production SUV record at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 2018.<\/p>\n

The new Bentayga Speed builds on the refreshed design of the new Bentayga, adopting the same Bentley design DNA now prevalent across the whole range.<\/p>\n

Introducing the very latest onboard technology and an even more cosseting cabin, the new model is significantly revised both inside and out.<\/p>\n

Bentley<\/a> Chairman and Chief Executive Adrian Hallmark said: “The new Bentayga has already raised the benchmark for luxury SUVs, against which all others are measured.<\/p>\n

“Ahead of the launch of the new Bentayga Hybrid \u2013 the world\u2019s only definitive luxury hybrid – in the coming months, it\u2019s important that we still recognise the customer desire for absolute performance.<\/p>\n

“The new Bentayga Speed remains the fastest SUV in the world, but more than that, it\u2019s also the most luxurious version of the new Bentayga \u2013 the best of both worlds, the pinnacle.”<\/p>\n
