Cereal company Mornflake is supporting new Nantwich classes promoting the wellbeing of children through yoga – with a hearty breakfast boost.<\/p>\n

The family oat miller has supported Karma Kids in its launch at Regent\u2019s Park\u2019s Hub cafe, Nantwich.<\/p>\n

Borne out of lockdown, the initiative aims to ease anxiety children may experience living through the pandemic by increasing their physical fitness and mental resilience.<\/p>\n

Thursday classes welcome toddlers to teens and include yoga exercise, meditation and mindfulness techniques.<\/p>\n

And Crewe-based company Mornflake has supported a healthy start to their day by supplying a donation of superfast Top Porridge pots to children participating in the classes.<\/p>\n

Managing director John Lea said: “It\u2019s hard to imagine how difficult it has been for children during these challenging times.<\/p>\n

“So we were delighted to hear about this local initiative to support mental resilience and encourage exercise from a young age.”<\/p>\n

Mornflake<\/a> has promoted healthy lifestyles among its consumers and employees.<\/p>\n

It remains Crewe Alex FC\u2019s long-standing shirt sponsor and supports children\u2019s football training and the UK Triathlon series for serious athletes and beginners.<\/p>\n

Karma Kids founder Jade Lawrence, a mother-of-five, said: “We are grateful to Mornflake for getting behind us.<\/p>\n

“Lockdown has had a massive impact on many of our children’s mental and physical wellbeing.<\/p>\n

“They have had to adjust to online learning and struggle to stay motivated, while missing social interaction with their peers and the routine of school.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s proven that participation in regular physical activity releases happy hormones and reduces stress and anxiety.<\/p>\n

“Karma Kids offers fun wellness classes to build positive, confident, calm and relaxed minds.”<\/p>\n

The classes have got off to a good start and more are in the pipeline including Karma Adults.<\/p>\n
