Aqueduct Marina near Nantwich is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a new brand.
The marina was launched and run by the Parton family for a decade, with the aim of creating Cheshire’s premier marina complex.
Now the family and staff are to unveil a new brand as they look ahead to the next 10 years.
Phil Langley, Marina and Operations Director, said: “We started to look at our “brand” or as a cleverer person than me once said ‘the thing people say about you when you’re not in the room’.
“We have always been forward thinking and the reason we decided to rebrand was to provide a platform, so we can develop an experience that is consistently improving our customers’ leisure time.
“We have visually changed, but this is much more than a skin-deep transformation.
“Marinas might traditionally have been viewed as car-parks for boats but what we want to create is a “hotel for boats”, an environment that gives our customers a better boating experience and more time to enjoy those experiences.”
The marina has unveiled a new logo and tag line ‘More Time For You’ alongside the rebrand, which was officially launched on March 27.
“For the last few years we have developed around the “one stop solution” tag line,” added Phil.
“And although this highlights we have all services on one site, we felt it didn’t represent the company’s growing desire to improve people’s leisure time and be more customer centric.
“The ‘more time for you’ obviously is a play on words around moorings but also indicates our commitment to create more time for you to enjoy boating.
“What we aim to achieve through offering all the services and knowledgeable staff on one site is that we can quickly solve issues and provide better solutions.
“This will enable you to spend more time on the water and less time on problems.”
Phil said additional improvements will be made across the site at Church Minshull.
“By the end of April, we aim to have everything switched over to the new branding.
“But our development and commitment to improving people’s leisure time is something we aim to pursue for years to come.”
