Crewe business Buckley’s Bees is one of three in Cheshire to be named among the best rural businesses in the UK.
They have been shortlisted for a regional Rural Business Award, held in partnership with Amazon.
Buckley’s Bees from Crewe is shortlisted in the Best Rural Start Up Business.
Meanwhile, The Lambing Shed from Knutsford is in Best Rural Diversification Project, and Hillsgreen from Macclesfield as Best Rural Professional Services Business.
They will battle it out against fellow rural businesses, entrepreneurs and enterprises from across the region for a place at the national final.
The regional final will be held virtually on Friday October 1, with the National Final taking place early next year.
Buckley’s Bees aims to increase native bee and other pollinator populations across the UK through corporate engagement.

The Rural Business Awards 2021/2022, in partnership with Amazon, will mark the awards’ seventh year of celebrating the success of businesses across the UK’s rural economy.
They are organised by rural business for rural business with the aim of celebrating the achievements of rural businesses and developing a strong network for rural business owners.
