Cheshire businesses are defying the challenges of lockdown by joining the Cheshire NetworkIN groups to offer each other mutual advice and support.
Since lockdown Cheshire NetworkIN membership has continued to grow as businesses turn to online to stay connected.
They offer virtual meetings and training sessions and are providing members with updates and advice on everything from furlough to government grants.
Cheshire NetworkIN launched a year ago and celebrates its first birthday this month.
More than 40 companies across Nantwich, Crewe and Sandbach now use it to grow their business.
Pam Allen (pictured), owner of award-winning Cheshire virtual assistant business PA Today, who runs NetworkIN, said: “As a business owner I became involved because I knew it was essential to get out there and network because you have to tell people you’re there, otherwise they can’t buy from you.
“I discovered I was good at it and I love helping other businesses work together and seeing them grow.
“The lockdown came just as we launched Team Sandbach and our first challenge at NetworkIN was to recreate all of our business meetings and training sessions online.
“This new format has proved to be a success, and as we approach our first birthday, I’m delighted at how members are coming together and supporting each other through these tough times.
“Our aim right now is to help Cheshire businesses build their resilience, to develop a positive mindset and to adapt to change with like-minded business owners which ultimately will set them apart from their competitors when this is all over.”
The groups continue to fundraise for chosen charities – The Donna Louise and The Wingate Centre.
New members are welcome from across all sectors, with existing businesses including mortgage advisors, solicitors, software designers, digital marketers, insurance brokers, financial advisors, website designers and garden maintenance.
