The UK’s first Boxing Play Programme is launching with sessions across Cheshire East from September 2019.
The Boxingtots classes will be led by qualified coaches and are based around learning through play, and encourages the FUNdamental ethos of boxing.
Boxingtots is designed to be a fun and interactive play programme for children aged three to 10 to help develop physical and social skills.
Former Boxer turned coach, Boxingtots founder and head of programme Joseph Eccleston said: “Boxingtots sessions are totally non-contact boxing classes for children
aged 3 to 10 and are specially designed to focus on co-ordination, social skills, self-confidence, teamwork, discipline and physical well being.
“We have integrated motor skill drills, boxing moves, educational activities and important life skills in a curriculum that gets the children excited, and eager to learn.
“It also serves as an ideal foundation for the children before moving into other individual or team sports.
“Since launching Boxingtots from Nantwich, the response to the programme has been really positive.
“We look forward to welcoming the children and their parents to our taster session at Ruskin Community School.”
The Boxingtots Taster sessions will be held on August 3 with limited places available.
