South Cheshire wealth management firm Alextra Group says customers shown the door by other companies are welcome.
The company says several people have contacted them to highlight how other wealth management practices in the region had informed them their custom is no longer desired.
It’s clients with smaller investment and/or pensions fund sizes less than £200,000 or £250,000 resulted in being let go.
Alextra says one customer told them: “I couldn’t believe what I was reading when I opened their letter. I was literally, in polite words, given the boot. I’ve never been sacked as a customer before.
“I thought my business would be more valuable than ever post Covid-19 with all companies hungry for revenue from customers large or small.
“But apparently my investment and subsequent management fees were not sizeable enough.”
