South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce relaunched its face-to-face networking programme in style with an afternoon tea at historic Churche’s Mansion in Nantwich.
Throughout the health crisis, the Chamber has continued to connect businesses across Crewe and Nantwich through webinars and virtual events.
But last week, members met face-to-face again in the restaurant’s pretty garden.
The Chamber’s events team are now planning more socially-distanced gatherings in public venues.
Events and Marketing Coordinator Dominic Hibbert said: “Our networking programme offers an opportunity to get to know a variety of individuals and build new business relationships.
“Throughout the pandemic these connections have been made through a variety of events online.
“Getting back out to see members face-to-face was very special and made even more so on a sunny day over afternoon tea.”
Meanwhile, the Chamber is launching a series of events for businesses to share their skills and knowledge.
The programme, Chamber Share, will offer a platform for businesses to support each other in the challenging times.
He added: “We are aware a wide range of skills and knowledge exist within the Chamber member network and we have been looking at ways to share these to support individual businesses and the wider local economy.
“A result of this we will deliver ‘top tip’ webinars on key topics such as sales and marketing, leadership and management, embracing technology, health and safety and human resources.”
Chamber Share events will be a regular event on Tuesdays at 11am with the first on September 8 when businesses will be given a ten minute slot to share best practice and top tips.
Business members who have missed webinars over the past few months can see them on the Chamber YouTube account.
