dance - salon vie boss jane byrne and clare hoy

A Nantwich salon boss has teamed up with a customer to enter a fundraising dance competition!

Salon Vie director Jane Byrne and loyal client Clare Hoy have been training to learn the skills of ballroom dancing.

And they’ll be hoping to go from cutting hair to “cutting a rug” in one of St Luke’s Hospice’s major fundraisers of the year.

Jane will be dancing the Tango and Clare the Jive.

The competition and performance are on Saturday April 27 at The Grange Theatre in Hartford.

Twelve competitors with their ‘professional’ partners will present their dance, be judged by a panel and one will walk away with the glitter ball.

Jane is further supporting the event by providing hairdressing for the dancers on the evening.

All contestants are trying to raise as much money for the Hospice as they can, and ll tickets for the event have been sold.

But individual sponsorship for each dancer continues.

This can be done via JustGiving or donations received for Clare or Jane at the Nantwich Salon on Beam Street.
