
A free roadshow focusing on women’s health in Nantwich will be held in the town on July 3rd.
The event takes place in Nantwich Civic Hall between 1pm and 5pm and is a free drop-in event with no need to book.
Organised by the Nantwich & Rural Care Community Team, it aims to provide advice and help on a range of issues affecting women.
This includes advice and NHS Services on breast/bowel/cervical screening, sexual health, support for young mums and families, pelvic health service and free health checks.
There will also be mental health support, social prescribing, and menopause and perimenopause advice/support, rape support, and domestic violence support.
Other organisations will be involved including One You, Healthier Futures, and Citizens Advice Bureau offering free practical advice and support on housing, debt, benefits, work and more.
There will also be support for ethnic minorities and under-represented groups, as well as information on support and befriending groups for young girls and women.
