Plans for up to 75 homes in Nantwich will now be decided by a planning inspector after the applicant appealed against Cheshire East’s non-determination of the application.

Around 75 homes could be on the way for farm land off Broad Lane in Nantwich.
Nightingale Land is considering seeking planning permission for a residential development on a 3.82-hectare field bounded by agricultural land to the south and east, properties off Broad Lane to the north and Batherton Lane to the west.
Nantwich Museum has launched a new fundraising campaign to buy four items of local treasure which have a combined total value of £850.
The items originate from the nearby areas of Batherton and Marbury.
Residents in Stapeley, Nantwich, have the chance to vote on whether to adopt a new Neighbourhood Plan which could help prevent unwanted development.
Polling cards for the referendum have been delivered to more than 1,000 households, with voting to take place on February 15.
