St Mary’s Church in Acton is gearing up to welcome visitors to its annual Christmas Tree Festival from tomorrow (December 5th) to Sunday December 7th.
This year’s theme is “A Storybook Christmas” with its showcase of Christmas trees inspired by favourite tales and characters, each one sponsored and decorated by parishioners, local groups, and businesses.

A ‘Proms at Acton’ concert is set to return for its fourth year on Remembrance Sunday November 9th at St Mary’s Church in Acton.
Inspired by the famous Last Night of the Proms, it will feature patriotic favourites like Land of Hope & Glory performed by Nantwich Concert Band and soprano soloists Sarah Williamson and Jessica Thayer.
Eddisbury MP Aphra Brandreth praised Acton CE Academy’s pioneering approach to education during a visit to the school near Nantwich.
