Nantwich students can still land places on some Further Education and Higher Education courses at nearby South Cheshire College.

The college has announced that there are still places up for grabs on selected full-time programmes and foundation degrees.

The college, which opened its new state-of-the-art campus in September 2010, now has a bigger capacity to take on extra students.

Alex Fau-Goodwin, Vice Principal for 14-19 Curriculum & Strategy, said: “We are pleased with the numbers of students who have enrolled on all our full-time courses so far.

“Numbers are up to the limit on a large amount of courses, but there are still places available on others which we are keen to fill as soon as possible.”

Suzanne Wainwright, Vice Principal for Skills, HE and Business Development, added: “This is an ideal time for students to sign up for Higher Education courses because the fees we charge at college are still less expensive than traditional universities.”
