Nantwich Town were held to a goalless draw by 10-man Kings Lynn Town.

The Dabbers could not exploit their man advantage down in Norfolk in their Evo-Stik Premier League clash.

Aaron Burns squandered the best chance when he missed the penalty won in the incident which saw the hosts down to 10 men.

First choice Linnets keeper Alex Street was sent off after bringing down Burns who was clear on goal.

Defender Jaylee Jason stepped between the sticks and brilliantly saved Burns’ spot-kick to his right.

Kings Lynn were lifted by the sending off and created chances of their own in the second half.

Max Harrop had a chance to win all three points but was also denied by stand-on keeper Jason.

The point earned in front of more than 500 fans keeps Nantwich in mid-table, six points behind the play-off places.

Kings Lynn remain eighth, just a point off the play-offs.
