Santa Maria overcame Nantwich YF 5-4 in a nine goal thriller in the first round of the Crewe FA Concorde Sunday Vase.

Chris Cliffe and Richard Ford both scored twice for the Farmers with Dom Latham (2), Daniel Wain, Craig Bossons, Ben Gibson for Santa Maria.

Wistaston Athletic also scored five on their travels, beating Audlem 5-2 thanks to strikes from Ben Morgan (2), Jordan Smith, Adam Lee and James Burden. Sam O’Hara and Dave Bebbington replied for Audlem.

Two first half goals from Dave Ratcliffe helped Salvador to a 3-0 win over Leighton, Kieron Banks scored the other goal.

Rising Sun survived a hard test by holding on to a 3-2 win at Haslington Damien Sloan, James Hope and Craig Morrey scored for the Sun with Dec Stubbs and Lee Turner for Haslington.

A goal in each half by Andy Parkinson helped Faddiley beat Crewe FC 2-0.

Bank Corner (A Garrett 2, Ravenscroft, Patterson, Flanders, OG) overcame Rookery Tavern 6-2.

In the Premier Division there were only four games and FC Semtex maintained their 100% record, beating Ocean 3-1 with goals from Leroy Jones, Danny Roberts and Jordan Amson.

Talbot and Square One played out a nine-goal thriller with Square One edging it 5-4 with an own goal and strikes from Newton, Hardman, Walker and Chesters. Ant Broadhurst 2, Ian Robinson and Luke Benkhir for Talbot.

Willaston WS (Asher Moat) shared the points with AFC Leopard (Mike Blundell) and Crewe Ath beat AFC Barkode 3-0 with goals from Dom Caparao, Matt Hattin and Aaron Jones.
