A South Cheshire businesswoman has been shortlisted for a prestigious “Women in Business” award.

Emma Dalzell, founder and MD of Bare Bones Marketing, has been shortlisted for the awards run by Forward Ladies.

This year’s awards, sponsored by HSBC and Microsoft, aim to highlight and celebrate the role talented women play, and recognise and reward their exceptional success.

Over the past six years, the calibre of entries has been outstanding and this year is no exception, with the standard being higher than ever.

Emma (pictured), who runs the business from Middlewich, said: “I am delighted to have been shortlisted for the Forward Ladies Woman in Business Awards.

“We have grown so much since I started Bare Bones Marketing four years ago and I’m thrilled that a Middlewich business can be represented at such a prestigious and nationally recognised awards.

“This year’s competition is very tough, the calibre of business women really is outstanding, so it means all the more to be shortlisted.

“I’m really proud to have been recognised for the work we do with business, charities, education and the community.”

The North West & Isle of Man Awards ceremony will be hosted by ITV News presenter, Charlene White, at a luncheon at the Radisson Blu Edwardian in Manchester in October.
