Faddiley have a chance to finish runners up in the Crewe Regional Sunday League Premier Division after White Lion Ford Lane slipped up.

They missed the chance to definitely take the runners up position when they lost 4-2 at Wistaston Leopard.

Rich Ryan (2) and Declan Scott (2) grabbed a brace each for Wistaston.

Danny Roberts and Robert Timmis netted for the visitors who played with just 10 men throughout.

Faddiley now need to win both their remaining games against Betley and NHB to finish as runners up.

Willaston White Star finished their league fixtures with a 0-6 defeat at home to NHB, who scored five times in the second half.

Nick Ball, Dan Ball, Peter Cain, Tom Evans, Andy Ward and Paul Studley were their goalscorers.

In Division One, Brighton Belle completed their fixtures with an 8-3 defeat at The Ark.

Brandon Howman, Ratislav Lisivka and an own goal were on target for the visitors while Steve Hughes (3), Alex Townhill (2), Matthew Hunt and Matthew Waller netted for the home team.

Manager David Unwin netted the final goal after coming on for a cameo appearance.

In the Crewe FA Sunday Cup, George and Dragon triumphed after beating Crewe Athletic 4-2 in a penalty shootout. The game finished 2-2 after 90 minutes.
