More than 900 nominations have been made for the latest Shop Local Nantwich Awards.
The awards aim to champion the town’s independent businesses and as many as 90 have already been nominated.
Award organisers say people have put forward local companies because of their independent spirit, or exceptional service, or for unique stories behind them.
The closing date for nominations for this year is July 31 2025, so residents still have time to put forward their favourite local businesses for recognition.
Elizabeth Griffiths, one of the award organisers, said: “These awards are about more than just accolades – they’re about celebrating the soul of our town.
“The support so far has been incredible, and we can’t wait to shine a spotlight on the finalists.”
Once nominations close, a shortlist of finalists will be announced in August.
The public will then be invited to vote for their winners in each category from September through to November.
An awards night when winners will be revealed will take place on January 31, 2026, hosted by Shop Local Nantwich, The Cat Radio, and Dave Christie of Cheshire Business Coaching.
