Nantwich Singers is to stage a workshop on November 1st called “Sing ‘Wellerman’ and Sing Well.
It will be the group’s first event with new musical director Susan Marrs, who has just taken on this role.
The event aims to be a fun and friendly afternoon workshop open to all taking place at St Mary’s Church, Nantwich, on Saturday 1st November between 2pm and 5pm.
It will be based around the popular “Wellerman” sea shanty and also include a range of folk songs, rounds and choral curiosities – with a little break for tea and cake.
Singers of all ages and abilities are welcome.
The Nantwich Singers have been based at St Mary’s Church for nearly 50 years.
