Nantwich Town welcome top of the table Lower Breck FC to the Swansway Stadium tomorrow (November 1).
The Dabbers are unbeaten at home in 12 matches but that record will face a stern test against the team five points clear at top of Northern Premier Division West.
But victory for Nantwich will move them within five points of Lower Breck and with a game in hand.
Seventh-placed Nantwich returned to winning ways in midweek with a fine 1-0 away victory at Vauxhall Motors.
A long ball from Fenton Green sent Byron Harrison clean through and he made no mistake with the finish in dinking it over Reece Trueman for the winner.
Nantwich had chances to extend the lead before half time through Alex Panter and Perry Bircumshaw.
The second half was a quieter affair as Nantwich bedded in and looked for opportunities on the counter attack.
Ben Garratt’s only real save of the second half came after a minor scramble in the box resulted in Kevin Ellison backheeling towards goal but Garratt smothered the attempt.
Kick off against Lower Breck tomorrow (November 1st) is 3pm.
