Best-selling author Frank Melling and his wife and editor Carol will be at Bridgemere Garden Centre in Nantwich with their latest book, “Sarah – Searching For Love”.
The couple will be at the centre from 10.30am to 4pm this Saturday November 8th.
Frank said: “Sarah is very much a love story for the modern world and I had tremendous satisfaction writing it.
“Carol’s editorial input has been vital — not just in refining the prose, but in ensuring that ‘Sarah’ rings true emotionally.
“We’re so pleased to be back at Bridgemere where we are always made to feel so welcome.”
Frank will be reading extracts from his book and chatting about how to become a professional writer.
The new book “Sarah – Searching For Love” is about Sarah Bersham, who has everything a modern woman is supposed to want: a stable job, her own home, a four-year-old Mini.
But she also has a failed love life littered with men who turned out to be thieves, teenagers, or therapy cases in disguise.
At 34, bruised but not broken, she turns to online dating, artisan gin, and the eternal hope there must be someone out there who sees her — not just her profile picture.
But in a world of curated selfies, disposable dates, and workplace betrayals, Sarah’s journey isn’t about fairy-tale romance. It’s about rediscovering herself.
