
Winsford over 3 hosted Alderman FC in a game that finished with six goals scored in the Crewe Regional Sunday Premier Division.
It was the away side that came out on top after a 2-4 victory.
The game was closely poised at 1-1 at the 45-minute mark, but Alderman edged the second half to take home all three points.
Reliable goalscorer Andy Arrowsmith scored a brace for Alderman, with Ben Jones and Connor Floor also scoring.
Tom Stanton and James Crowther scored the goals for Winsford Over 3.
Nantwich Pirates were a goal down at half time to last year’s runners up Cooper Buckley thanks to a goal by Luke Gillan but turned the game around in the second half to secure a 3-1 victory.
Liam Heyes Porter scored twice and the third was scored by Will Oakes.
Cooper Buckley did pile on the pressure, but the Pirates defence stood firm including a remarkable performance by 51-year-old Mike Brown.
In Division One, Audlem had a productive morning at home against C&N, taking home three points in a 4-1 victory.
Will Cork, Ben Walker, Cam Rodgers and Nate Renyard got the all-important goals.
Jack Cope scored the goal for C&N Inter Arena got a good win in their game against the very steady AFC Dishers, winning 1-2.
Goals from Harley Bateman and Liam Sumner were enough to secure the CRSFL debutants their fourth win of the season in what has been a very respectable first year. Matthew Gibson scored the Dishers goal.
No goals were scored in the first half during the game between White Horse and Ruskin Park on the Barony, but both teams managed to get on the score sheet twice in the second half.
The points were shared, however, as neither team could seal a winner. The game finished 2-2.
Danny Tomkinson and Rhys Potter got the goals for Ruskin Park and Brandon Howman scored for the Horse along with an own goal.
In what would likely have been the game of the day if our games were on TV, two Division one front runners faced off in Bunbury with NHB hosting Nantwich Town.
In what certainly would have been a close affair, NHB came out on top after winning 3-0.
A Sam Davenport brace and a goal from Andy Ward secure all three points for the Bunbury-based outfit.
These two teams are now virtually inseparable at the top of the table, with just four-goal difference meaning that Nantwich Town remain at the table summit.
