Police in Nantwich have uncovered a large cannabis grow operation in the Wrenbury area.
Officers say the illegal operation was discovered after a number of residents raised concerns.
They raided a business premises on Wrenbury Hall Drive yesterday (March 1st) at 11.49pm.
A police spokesperson said: “officers were called to reports of intruders at a business premises on Wrenbury Hall Drive in Wrenbury.
“While dealing with the incident they discovered one of the units had been turned into a large cannabis grow.
“The premises has been made safe by electrical engineers and officers are now dismantling the grow and seizing the contents of the premises.
“Enquiries are continuing to establish those responsible.”
