Richmond Villages Nantwich has appointed Abbi Jones as its new care home manager.
Abbi becomes only the fifth registered manager to lead the village since it first opened its doors to residents 30 years ago.
She has more than 14 years of experience working in health and social care and her appointment represents a milestone for the village, on St Joseph’s Way.
Abbi started as a care assistant and progressed through responsible positions, including senior care assistant and care coordinator in domiciliary care.
She previously served as a senior carer at the village before moving into the NHS and later taking on management roles in domiciliary care.
Abbi returned to the village last year as deputy manager.
She said: “Everybody locally knows Richmond Villages, and people always have something positive to say about it.
The feedback from residents and families really speaks for itself, and it makes you feel proud to be part of something so well thought of.
“No two days are ever the same, which I love, but what really stands out is the support from the whole village team.
“Whether it’s care staff, hospitality, housekeeping, or kitchen teams, everyone works together to make sure residents receive the highest standard of care possible.”
Lynne Griffin, village manager at Richmond Villages Nantwich, added: ” Abbi’s appointment as Care Home Manager is a tremendous achievement and reflects her dedication and expertise.
“We’re confident that her leadership will continue to enhance the exceptional care and support our residents receive.”
