A man found dead at a house in Audlem yesterday (July 14th) is not being treated as suspicious, Cheshire Police said today.
Crime scene investigators were called out to the scene on Emberton Place at around 2pm.
The body of a 76-year-old man was found in a property on the street which was cordoned off by emergency services during the initial investigation.
Police said they were initially called out on a “concern for welfare” report, along with North West Ambulance and Cheshire Fire Service.
But police said today they now believe the death was due to a “medical episode” and there are no criminal or suspicious circumstances.
A police spokesperson added: “A casefile is being prepared for the Coroner as per usual.”
