Nantwich Seals swimming club is launching a new initiative to encourage youngers swimmers to compete.
Their “Little Sealzies” scheme aims to create a junior swim squad at the club based at Nantwich Swimming Pool and is targeting those aged 7 to 10.
It’s designed to create a fun environment for those who are ready to swim beyond the standard swimming lessons.
A Seals spokesperson said: “Whether you’ve smashed Stage 6 or just love being in the water, Little Sealzies is your next exciting step.
“Designed for enthusiastic young swimmers aged 7 to 10, Little Sealzies bridges the gap between swimming lessons and competitive swim club training.
“If your child has reached Stage 6 of the Swim England Learn to Swim Pathway or is showing real passion and potential in the pool, we’re ready to help them dive into the next stage of their swimming journey.”
Those who join will enjoy more pool time, smaller groups, a friendly coach who will help build technique and stamina, and try racing.
The sessions will be one-hour long on Saturdays between 4pm and 6pm.
“Fast-track your swimming in a fun, welcoming squad! Message us today as spaces are filling fast,” the spokesperson added.
