A man has been charged in connection with an alleged serious assault of an 86-year-old in Nantwich town centre.
Richard Garside, 66, of Nantwich, has been charged with wounding/inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
He is due to appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on July 15th, say Cheshire Police.
The charge relates to an alleged attack in November 2025 on Nantwich Civic Hall car park on Beam Street, Nantwich.
The incident left an 86-year-old man with a serious head injury.
