A two-car smash has caused delays at a busy junction in Nantwich today.
Police and emergency services were called to the scene of the accident at the junction of Barony Road and Davenport Avenue at around 2pm today (July 9th).
One of the vehicles involved was left just inches from the front entrance to the Hobson’s Choice convenience store on the corner of the junction.
The junction is just yards from the traffic lights junction of Barony Road and Middlewich Road – one of the busiest parts of the town’s network.
It’s not clear what caused the incident, involving a blue and green vehicle (pictured above).
Cheshire Police said: “At 1.50pm on Thursday 9 July, police were called to a collision on Davenport Avenue, Nantwich.
“Police attended and found there had been a collision involving two cars, a Vauxhall Corsa and an Audi.
“There were no reports of any injuries, and the scene has since been cleared.”
