AUDLEM TRIAL: Jury fails to reach verdict in Adam Lovatt manslaughter trial

A jury has failed to reach a verdict in a trial of two men charged with the manslaughter over the death of devoted Audlem dad Adam Lovatt.

Samuel Thorpe, 24, of Annions Lane, Wybunbury, and Nicholas Hill, 36, of Moorsfield Avenue, Audlem were tried at Liverpool Crown Court.

A 19-year-old Crewe man was jailed for life today for stabbing his South Cheshire victim to death through the heart.

Oliver Dabbs was found guilty of the murder of Stephen O’Brien, 51, following a 14-day trial at Chester Crown Court.

An inquest into the tragic death of a dementia sufferer who wandered out of a Nantwich care home, will take place before a jury in May.

Roy Tomlinson, 83, died on February 4 last year after going missing from Brookfield House care home on Shrewbridge Road.
