Nantwich cancer campaigner Ann Aspinall has organised a second “Turn Nantwich Pink ” fun day following the huge success if the event last year.

The mum and grandmum has organised the day to take place on Nantwich town square next Thursday October 27, and is centred around a children’s funday.

Like last year, Ann has arranged for the Pink Fire Engine to attend, as well as stalls selling 2nd hand handbags and toys, raffle, tombola, lucky dip, name the baby, face painting, cakes and much more.

Local ice cream firm Snugburys will also attend in the afternoon to give out free pink ice cream.

“Hopefully there will be some free activities for the children,” said Ann.

“There will be some information stuff to, like doing the Christmas shoeboxes, and about nature activities like painting with blackberries and other wildberries.”

The day will run from 10am to 4pm, with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Awareness.
